Our Founder

Kara Short is a Graduate student at Austin Peay State University pursuing a Master's degree in Leadership with a Concentration in Community Leadership. She plans on obtaining certifications in Grant Writing, Leading Organizational Change, & Conflict Resolution and Negotiation alongside her Master's degree.

She is a 2022 graduate of Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychological Science & Counseling, an Alumna of Alpha Gamma Delta Women's Fraternity, and a former Miss Murfreesboro Volunteer, former Miss Mid South Volunteer, and the current Miss Austin Peay Volunteer in the Miss Volunteer America Scholarship Organization.
