Our History

Brave Me Brave You was founded by Kara Short in 2023. The trademarked, 501c3 non-profit organization helps teach young children what it means to be brave and what situations they can be brave in. With her work, she has been able to reach children in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, and Georgia and has recently gone International.

Kara founded Brave Me Brave You to have a more developmentally appropriate way to speak with children about safe touching, personal space, boundaries, and respecting yourself and others. She believes that Brave Me Brave You is for every child everywhere, no matter where they come from, who they are, or what language they speak.
